Bahrain Mirror: Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim stressed that "Quds Day marches are a source of strength that ignites consciences and action because they unite the nation on the necessity of jihad and resistance," warning that "diminishing the significance of commemorating Quds Day is a victory for the enemy, a decline in the nation's will, and a path towards its defeat."
Ayatollah Qassim expressed in a statement on the eve of International Quds Day, on April 4th, 2024, that "Quds Day is for protecting Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Sacred House, the tomb of the Messenger of Allah...," adding that "all mosques will remain dust and become dust if Al-Quds is not protected."
He went on to say that International Quds Day shapes generations, and if the voices of the Islamic streets were raised, it would be a powerful weapon for the resistance alliance in the Gaza war. Quds Day is not just one day; it is a day of the year and more because it teaches normalizers (with the occupation) that we are a nation of wide-ranging resistance, strong determination, and deep faith in our cause."
He emphasized that "lives are to be sacrificed to ward off the ongoing war supported by the West against the Islamic nation."
