Bahrain’s King Appoints his Son Salman bin Hamad as First Vice President of the Royal Family Council

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued on Thursday (February 22, 2018) a royal decree appointing his son Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad as First Vice President of the Royal Family Council.
The current head of the Royal Family Council is the King himself.
The new post comes in addition to the series of posts held by the Crown Prince, the most significant of which being the positions of Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the First Deputy Prime Minister and the President of the Economic Development Board.
