Zarif: No Wonder Countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE & Bahrain Support Trump’s Speech

Bahrain Mirror: Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said Iran was not surprised that supporters of the United States President Donald Trump's "inane speech" on Iran and the nuclear deal are Persian Gulf states, such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
In a series of tweets on his official Twitter account, Zarif ridiculed Trump saying "everyone knew Trump's friendship was for sale to the highest bidder. We now know that his geography is too," in response to Trump referring to the Persian Gulf as the "Arabian Gulf".
The FM went on to say that "allegations, threats and profanity will never intimidate Iranians. Trump will eventually discover this; as every predecessor did."
It is worth to note that Trump announced Friday his new aggressive strategy towards Iran, claiming it is aimed at preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, supporting terrorism and destabilizing the Middle East. He stressed that "history has shown that the longer we ignore a threat the more dangerous that threat becomes," adding that "the execution of our strategy begins with the long overdue step of imposing tough sanctions on Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard core."
