Bahraini Capital Secretariat Director-General: Food Stand Licenses Valid during Ashura Only

Bahrain Mirror: Director General of the Secretariat of Bahrain's Capital, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa stressed that it is necessary that food stand organizers commit to the authorized period during Ashura season only, noting that unlicensed food stands or food stands in violation of regulations will be removed.
He further stated that the Secretariat "took all necessary measures for providing municipal services and preparations to facilitate the organization of various religious, social and national events, including Ashura season."
He also pointed out that the Secretariat and its Executive Board have made all pre-regulatory preparations in collaboration with the relevant authorities, including the Capital Governorate, the Jaafari Endowment Administration and the Gulf City Cleaning Company, in addition to holding an annual meeting with the organizers of funeral (Azaa) processions and public benefit organizations participating in this commemoration.
